Artist Statement

My art is greatly influenced by my curious nature and my vivid imagination. I always want to find a universe within a particle and the unseen details that lie beneath the surface. I am fascinated by the unknown and unexplored. The tactile and textural nature of silk has drawn me to this medium. My completed art - IT IS WHAT IT IS – open to interpretation by the viewer and I expect somewhat different from my own viewpoint.
